GW Technology Maturation Award granted to Opal HTM collaborators

Opal HTM collaborator, Dr. Ekundayo Shittu, was recently announced as a winner of the $50,000 Technology Maturation Award (TMA) from The George Washington University (GW) Technology Commercialization Office.

The award is designed to fund the development of GW-licensed technologies through proof-of-concept, prototyping, or scale-up work, bringing them closer to commercialization.

Dr. Shittu’s project, conducted in conjunction with Opal HTM, will focus on advancing novel technology to comprehensively evaluate medical equipment utilization and condition in hospitals.

Dr. Shittu will serve as the principal investigator on the upcoming TMA project.
